Give your student discipline, self-confidence, mental and physical stimulation. While not all children will be able to swim to the same capacity, all children can learn to love the water. Private swim lessons can serve as therapy for special needs children. Swim Lessons can provide visual, sensory, and physical stimulation. These students do not need to be active in group lessons to participate in our private lesson program. Must be able to participate in swim lessons without a guardian. Assessment may be required.
Although traditional lessons may seem impossible. At Barron we strive to progress the students into our group lessons. Our teachers will find creative ways to promote strength building and water safety.
EVALUATION PROGRAM – All children will receive a poster to take home to display and track their skills. The poster lists the skills that are taught in the child’s classes. Parents will see how the program not only teaches their child how to swim, but also increases self-worth and self-esteem, and teaches valuable goal-setting skills . This program gives students a chance for their improvements and hard work to be recognized. Parents will be able to assist children in coloring in their stars and tracking their child’s skills online, as skills are attained. To assure progress and success, the skills have been broken down into colored groups. Evaluations of students’ skills are ongoing.
